What began as delicate wire portrait drawings inspired by faces and identity gradually expanded into full-body figures, dancers in motion, women in swimsuits, and scenes drawn from everyday public life.

Inspired by the landscapes of the Lower Galilee, Vered’s artistic journey later grew into large-scale three-dimensional sculptures of olive trees, cypress trees, rolling hills, and natural scenery that reflect the beauty of her surroundings. Over time, she introduced color and intricate detailing into her work, adding layers of storytelling and emotional depth to every piece.

Alongside her personal practice, Vered leads workshops and creates commissioned works, transforming ideas and emotions into tangible artistic expression. She describes her connection to wire as “love at first sight,” drawn to the material’s unique balance of softness and strength, delicacy and roughness — a tension she sees reflected both in herself and in her art.

Recently, Vered has also returned to working with synthetic clay, reconnecting with a medium she once explored in a family business alongside her father, who is also an artist. This renewed collaboration adds a deeply personal and multigenerational layer to her creative process. For Vard, art is not simply a profession — it is an inseparable part of who she is.
