Tanya, a 27-year-old artist and restorer, brings the spirit of Tel Aviv to life through her art. Originally from Belarus, she made Aliyah at 21 after a transformative MASA program where she immersed herself in Hebrew and graphic design. Drawn by Israel’s vibrant opportunities and warm culture, Tanya settled in Tel Aviv, where she pursued her passion for architecture and art. Her works often highlight the city’s unique urban landscape, capturing the beauty of its Bauhaus architecture and bustling streets with a meditative eye for detail.

By day, Tanya works as a restorer of historical murals and artworks in buildings across Tel Aviv and beyond, preserving pieces from the 1920s to the 1940s. Her nights and weekends are dedicated to her personal art, where she experiments with mediums like linocuts, watercolors, and even unconventional materials like wine and coffee. Through her creations, Tanya aims to evoke nostalgia and connection, reminding viewers of the charm and vibrancy of Israel.

For Tanya, art is both a personal escape and a tool for fostering connection. Her postcards and prints have traveled the globe, bringing pieces of Tel Aviv to those who miss it most. With each work, she hopes to share the message, “With love from Israel,” inspiring a sense of belonging and a reminder of the beauty of home.
