Recopilación: Koby Sibony

Koby Sibony is an Israeli artist and designer whose work explores the delicate expressive power of iron wire. A graduate with honors of the Industrial Design Department at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design Jerusalem, Koby has spent more than 25 years creating intricate works from 1 mm iron wire, investigating line, form, and material on physical, visual, and conceptual levels.

Working at the intersection of art and design, Koby creates pieces that are both striking and accessible, guided by his belief that “art should be accessible to everyone, at every age.” His work has been exhibited in Israel and abroad and is held in the collections of museums, galleries, and private collectors.

Since 2011, Koby has worked from his independent studio in Kibbutz Lohamei HaGeta’ot, where he creates a wide range of objects—some distinctly artistic, others blending unique design principles with everyday beauty. His spacious and welcoming studio also hosts lectures and workshops, inviting visitors into his creative world and sharing the unique process behind his wire-based art.
