Dar-Ya Shemesh

Dar-Ya Shemesh, an artist from Jerusalem, found new depth in her work after surviving October 7. In hiding, she prayed for the first time, discovering the healing power of faith. Since then, prayer and Hebrew letters have infused her creations with spiritual resonance. Dar-Ya blends biblical script with vivid colors, bridging ancient tradition and modern expression. Her watercolor series became a path of inner healing, now shared with the world. Alongside her paintings, she crafts contemporary Judaica, including hand-painted hamsas, bringing blessing and beauty into homes. Dar-Ya’s art is rooted in resilience, offering viewers inspiration, connection, and the power of renewal.
