Sharon Moshe Kovari, the artist behind VER Jewelry, is a 29-year-old jeweler from Ashkelon, Israel. Growing up by the sea and in a city marked by resilience, Sharon channels her surroundings and heritage into her work. With a grandfather who was also a jeweler, Sharon discovered her passion for crafting jewelry early on. After studying in Jaffa, she set up her own home studio, where she handcrafts unique silver and gold-plated pieces using the traditional wax carving technique.

Living in Ashkelon, close to Gaza, has had a profound impact on Sharon’s creative process. Her jewelry often reflects the ups and downs of life, capturing the emotional topography of Israel's landscape in her designs. Each piece is made with care, from initial sketches to the final touches, and she works with local factories for silver melting and gold plating. Sharon’s craftsmanship is spontaneous, often flowing directly from her hands to the final product without relying heavily on pre-planned designs.
